Help shape teaching – become a member of the Leibniz School of Education

Through your membership in the Leibniz School of Education, you have the opportunity to actively participate in shaping teacher education at Leibniz University Hannover. As a member, you can take part in the university's committee elections and elect representatives for the Leibniz School of Education Council or stand for the Council yourself. You have the opportunity to help shape the development process of teacher training courses and receive important information about the Leibniz School of Education's offerings.


How to become a member

Student Membership

Students of teaching-related master's degree programs are automatically members. Students of teaching-related bachelor's degree programs and educational science master's degree programs can become members.

This is easily possible via a selection in the SAP student portal.

Membership for students

Teacher education programmes for secondary schools, vocational schools and special education.

As a student, you can help shape this process by participating in the committees of the Leibniz School of Education. As a member, you will also receive important information about the programmes offered by the Leibniz School of Education.

Become a member

Students enrolled in teacher training master's programmes are automatically members of the Leibniz School of Education. Students enrolled in bachelor's programmes leading to a teaching qualification and master's programmes in educational sciences can also become members. This can be done easily by selecting the appropriate option in the SAP student portal

Membership for employees

The application form only needs to be filled out if you are not an automatic member of the LSE:

Automatic membership

All full-time university lecturers and academic staff in subject didactics and educational sciences who work at the LUH, as well as specialist scientists with a special focus on teaching*, are automatically members of the LSE.

*will be determined in the course of new appointments

 

Membership by application

If you do not belong to one of the above-mentioned status groups as a university lecturer (working full-time at the LUH), but are nevertheless interested in or involved in teacher training, you can apply for membership in the Leibniz School of Education.
