School Projects

The School Projects are currently still under construction and will in future offer research with and by pupils in teaching-learning relationships. In numerous courses, projects and competitions, the pupils will be guided to act as researchers themselves. They gain insights into complex issues and are integrated into all processes of scientific thinking and working methods. The knowledge processes in turn have a high relevance for didactic research and teaching in teacher education.

For over 20 years already, the Leibniz University Hannover has offered diverse taster and orientation classes in order to help pupils in their transition from school to university. Pupils are introduced to scientific work at an early stage, find out what is taught and researched in the faculties, and gain insights into the various fields of study.

Until now, the uniKIK team, which coordinates a large part of the offers for pupils in close cooperation with the faculties, was part of the Central Student Advisory Service. Since 01.07.2019 the staff of uniKIK have been enhancing the "Leibniz4School" department.
