Overview of the building blocks

Notes on the order of allocation

A specific sequence of courses is required for BIKO-LAMB, beginning with Module A. Modules B, C and D can only be credited towards BIKO-LAMB if they are completed after Module A. The sequence of courses is binding for all students!


Modules B, C and D can then be flexibly combined and completed depending on the degree programme and course of study.

Module A (6 CP)
Fundamentals of 
multilingualism 
and education		a. Seminar ‘DaZ/DaF workshop’ including DaZ/DaF practice in schools (60 hours)
b. Seminar ‘School of diversity – German as a second language and language education’
Module B (2 CP)
Intercultural skills		Participation in a seminar focusing on ‘Intercultural skills’
Module C (4 CP)
Contrastive language		Completion of a language course in a language that is contrastive to German in terms of typology
Module D (5 CP)
DaZ/DaF practice
outside school		Four-week extracurricular internship in an adult education institution related to DaZ/DaF
